I don't know how to power it, it says t is for cars, but also says on the back of the cover that it can be used indoors to.

I don't know how to power it indoors. What batteries do I need?
I was thinking since it is 12v, If I use 10 AA batteries together to make it 12v it will work. Will it? As one AA battery is 1.2V. So what should I do, is there another type of battery I can use? Please let me know.

If you really look at the circuit, the fuel pump relay is pulsed voltage, not continuous it is pulsed so fast that it appears that it is solid.
