oli let me ride in the back!?! of his car to a show yesterday after my chauffeurs (paul coltech) borrowed 46 chevy truck lunched its gearbox on the way. it is a proper butt clenching ride in the back especially when the front of the rear beam digs into the tarmac. oli, you have big balls.

puttin the 22mm m/c in tomorrow and running the lines through the car. probs 'delete' the bulkhead holes with tank tape for now haha

so i got my manifold and linkage from Regal this morning. Real nice manifold, gotta get new chokes for the carbs and a few other bits (jets etc) and get them on the car hopefully next week!

the headgasket seems to be weeping oil again, i have no money, work will be done to my spare engine (shortening the pickup and sump) and probably throw that in over the weekend so i can lower it and hopefully get the bastard thing to austria  Rolling Eyes

kinda an update.. lol

Ok so due to desperate time the solid lifter 1.3 will be going in the car tomorrow, today we chopped the bottom off the sump (and moved the drain plug out of the way) so I can lower the car more (and hopefully not beat it to death). Ill be getting my hands on another engine to do the megajolt set up to at a later but not to distant date..

update tomorrow night hopefully with a working engine and more lows Smile

we took 500ml of capacity out but the sump is from a late engine and the early engine (the one now in the car, pics/story/etc later) has a smaller capacity anways.

Motor is spray bombed, in and running, mostly lol. Gotta eat my dinner have a shower and dismantle my 40s so i can fit them in the week  Cool
